Chris and Laura wanted some beautiful engagement portraits with a little bit of fun and non-traditional thrown in of course. I hazarded the suggestion of the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts with great trepidation, as it is the single most commercialized, busy photo location in the city. But with a sense of humor and patience, and an appreciation for quinceanera and bridal fashion (likely to encounter 5 or more groups of each in a given hour) we managed to have a wonderful time. I wanted to use the shadows of the large structures during mid-day when we had to schedule the shoot, before crossing the street to Crissy Field once the light was softer. We finished the day down by the back alley’s of the financial district where Chris works.
