Kim and Jon’s wedding album has just arrived, and I thought I’d share it. This is an example of my digital flushmount album. For this type of wedding album the layout of each page is done digitally, and then printed onto a photograph that is about 12×24 or 10×20 inches (depending on the album size), and then laminated onto the page. Cover options range from a simple single leather color, to photo inlays, to multiple tones and colors at the same time. For this album, Kim and Jon wanted a cover that was a bit more fancy, so we had fun! Each album is designed from scratch with custom layouts and custom covers based on a detailed consultation with each client. These are a work of art on their own, even better with the wedding photos inside.

I also do matted wedding albums, and will post some examples of those come in.

Berkeley City Club Wedding Album

For some of my favorite wedding venues I will make up a demo album. The Berkeley City Club is one of my favorite places in the East Bay, where I’ve worked several times over the past few years. I’m currently putting together an album that showcases some past weddings, but with a different twist- showing a bit more of the venue for lighting ideas, food ideas, ceremony setups, and of course photography ideas too. It’s a mix of favorite photos and usefull photos. Here are a few sample layouts from the Berkeley City Club wedding lookbook. The book will be about 30 pages long, so this is just a sample.

Here’s another design for Masy and Chris. They’ve gone with the great matted album that I offer, produced by a company called Queensberry out of Australia. It’s a simple, clean look that’s classic, and absolutely gorgeous. Certainly one of the most beautiful albums in the world once it all comes together. I’ll be sure to post some images once I get the final product back. Here are a few of the layouts I put together for them.

As the New Year starts off, I have a new album design to share. December and January is often the time where I get to meet new clients, catch up on other work, and take a little bit of time for myself (we all need it . Mike and Lorrel’s wedding was more than a year ago- and I was happy to create a wonderful album for them, just in time for the new baby they are expecting!
